Zubat vs Pidgey

Random sketches months ago; started brushing it up but got stuck with the overall composition/color. I thought about revisiting with an entirely surreal color scheme but.. meh? If you have any ideas to improve it I'd appreciate it.

Think quietly how stiffly silent that forest would be, just quietly flickering bugs dashing through the last of the sunlight. A quick hard rap of flipping wings draws closer before it stops dead, a pidgey clutching hard to the bark. Not a moment later the less noisy "kirsh" of zubat's wings strongly beating to catch up, blindly looking for it's victim.
